My wife and I came through this station on our way back home. While I was filling my tank, a gentleman named Mike came up to me and told me my rear tire was bad on my Lincoln. My first thought was, "Ok, what's this guy up to?" Mike offered to raise the car up on the lift to show me what he was talking about. When I saw the tire, I knew Mike was watching out for me that day. It could have blown out at any moment! I had him put a set of four tires on and he had it done in no time. I am especially upset at my dealership for not informing me of this. I just had it serviced before we hit the road. Can you believe that? Mike told me he sees this kind of stuff all the time. Thanks again for helping me and my wife get back on the road safely!
I did and then he told me my 4 leaf springs were too weak and he had new 5 leaf springs and shackles. I asked him how much and he said $296 each! I said these will get me home.
SCAM ARTIST AT WORK HERE! Shop elsewhere or be prepared to have your money taken! Long story short, my Dad has been a mechanic for 35 years. Through deceptive practices he was forced to spend $765 on Spring hangers for his travel trailer that were 100% not needed. They will "look" at it, then cause the issues. Then you have to get it fixed.
The Mart was shut down early for "cleaning" while the store manager was just lounging around inside. Who closes two hours early to clean? Clean your shop after closing hours like every other business.
I went in to get a map and when I came out an employee said my RV trailer was making noise and he would grease the spring fittings if I'd pull back by the shop.
What a terrible scam! After I paid $1210. for 4 shocks installed he gave me an estimate to sign saying I had been given an estimate which I had not been given before the repair.
Then he took off a shock without asking and said they were bad and he replaced all 4 without asking me. When he presented a bill for $219. per shock and I said that was too much but he had them on already so I paid it.
Awful! We got there a few minutes before close yesterday because my wife really needed to use the restroom. They had already shut down shop and locked the door. I asked the employee through the door if she could use the restroom real quick and he motioned no then walked away. I understand you want to go home but I find it unacceptable to close early on paying customers. Thanks to the jerk who almost made her pee her pants because you wanted to make it home early..
